what's next with Custom Truck One Source. **Summary** As the Senior
Accountant of Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in both
the accounting and financial reporting functions of the
organization. This position is integral to the preparation, review
and distribution of internal and external financial statements and
reporting packages, analysis of financial statement variances and
trends. This role provides a unique opportunity to take both an in
detail and broad view of the Company, its key business segments and
end-markets, and gain valuable insights into the key drivers of the
business, viewed from both internal and external perspectives. You
will play a key role in providing timely and insightful process
improvements initiatives as well. Standard monthly and quarterly
close activities will include, managing the monthly close tasks via
the Blackline App, managing the Blackline Reconciliation App, and
financial reporting. This position interacts regularly with senior
management of the organization and offers great opportunities for
advancement to leadership positions within the organization.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Preparation of internal
and external financial statements, including SEC quarterly and
annual filings, including Form 8-K, definitive proxy statement and
registration statements + Preparation of the consolidating
financial statements, including translation of foreign currency
financial statements to USD + Preparation of GAAP to non-GAAP
reconciliation schedules + Preparation of the consolidated
statement of cash flows + Preparation of quarterly and annual
footnote disclosures, including equity roll-forwards + General
ledger system administration (chart of accounts maintenance,
opening/closing periods) + Preparation of financial statement
review materials for management review meetings + Financial
statement variance analysis + Key project member for installation
of a consolidation and reporting application tool + Blackline
monthly close tasks and account reconciliation tool administration
and maintenance + Assisting with intercompany account
reconciliations + Preparation of various journal entries, as
required + Updating numbers in 10-Q/10-K disclosure tie-outs
support, and entering data into Workiva for inclusion in financials
+ Tie-out and internal consistency checks of data in 10-Q/10-K,
earnings releases, and investor decks + Assistance with preparation
of a technical accounting memoranda + Assist with quarterly and
annual impairment analyses for assets + Assist with acquisition
related purchase accounting matters, when required + Preparation of
applicable statutory audit reports, as required + Other special
projects assigned **Required Skills and Qualifications** +
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting + CPA preferred + 3-5+
years of progressive accounting experience + Public accounting
experience preferred + SEC experience a plus + Proficient with the
Microsoft Office suite of applications **Preferred Skills and
Qualifications** + High level of intellectual curiosity and a
continuous improvement mindset + Excellent interpersonal,
organizational, project management and problem-solving skills +
Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP + Highly motivated
individual who can work independently + Team player who doesnt mind
digging into the details + Must possess and demonstrate the highest
level of personal integrity and professional judgment. + Must be
able to work in a collaborative and respectful manner with all
levels within the organization, from senior management to operating
personnel **Working Conditions** This job requires the person to
