active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A short-term contract
opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide
services across multiple K-12 schools in the Kansas City area. This
role covers a maternity leave assignment from early March through
late May, offering a dynamic work environment supporting students
throughout the district. Responsibilities: - Travel to a variety of
schools throughout the district to deliver physical therapy
services. - Develop and manage your own weekly schedule to ensure
comprehensive coverage and meet student needs. - Collaborate with
school staff to support individualized education plans and foster
student progress. Qualifications: - Licensed Physical Therapist
with experience in school-based settings preferred. - Strong time
management and organizational skills to coordinate visits across
multiple locations. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
and multiple team collaborations. - Excellent communication skills
to work effectively with educators, families, and students.
Location:This role requires travel to numerous schools across the
Kansas City area, including but not limited to facilities such as
Hazel Grove, Noble Prentis, New Chelsea, West Park, Quindaro,
Lindbergh, Silver City, John F Kennedy, Arrowhead, Central MS,
Argentine, Lowell Brune, Eisenhower, Rosedale, Carl Bruce,
Caruthers, Claude Huyck, and Eugene Ware. This contract assignment
is ideal for a PT professional comfortable with a flexible schedule
