Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support early childhood programs in an elementary school setting. This onsite contract role offers a chance to provide specialized therapeutic services to young students, helping enhance their developmental and functional skills. Location: Lees Summit, MO Position Details: Contract duration: March 26, 2026 May 22, 2026 Full-time, 35 hours per week One position available Service at an early childhood education center within an elementary school Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to early childhood students Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving motor, sensory, and functional abilities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and applicable regulations Preferred Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings Familiarity with early childhood developmental milestones and related therapy techniques Ability to engage effectively with young children and educational staff Strong communication and organizational skills Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to support student success Benefits: Gain valuable experience supporting early childhood education Work in a dynamic elementary school environment Collaborative onsite setting with a focus on student development Candidates with a passion for pediatric occupational therapy and a commitment to supporting childrens educational growth are encouraged to apply.
