Work as a Single Supportive Team The Position: The Director of Learning and Development owns the learning and development function for APFM and is primarily responsible for training and supporting the sales organization. The team is focused on onboarding all new consumer-facing sales people to ensure they ramp effectively and providing ongoing training to the sales teams and help thme meet their sales quota.Who you are: To lead our exceptional team, the Director of L&D will need to be skilled in leading a learning and development organization that is accountable to driving improved business outcomes in a highly dynamic and very fast-paced environment. You are passionate about APFM's mission and fostering an environment of continuous learning and excellence. Responsibilities:What you will do: Establish and execute a vision and strategy for the learning and development function, including advancing our efforts to build a world-class sales training and onboarding program. Work with senior leadership to develop and implement an leadership development program. Consult with stakeholders across departments to identify learning and development needs based on business and organizational priorities. Design, develop, assess, implement and evaluate training materials to ensure alignment with business Plan for effective delivery: train and prepare facilitators and manage program execution to maximize learning goals. Ensure training programs are achieving desired business results. Provide analysis and metrics on effectiveness of training Identify opportunities and propose solutions to iterate and continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs. Evaluate and implement new and innovative learning techniques and best practices to keep programs fresh, engaging, and to improve training effectiveness. Interact with all levels of employees to develop solid working relationships and assess training needs, secure active participation of subject matter experts (SMEs), and solicit program Supervise administration of training schedules and classes, programs, projects, and Identify, implement and oversee the internal Learning Management System (LMS). Manage the performance and support the professional development of all L&D team members. Manage overall training budget and ensure effective use of training dollars. Incorporate APFM values into each customer and co-worker interaction. Perform additional tasks as assigned by Qualifications: Required Skills and Competencies 7-10 years' experience in learning and development in a fast-paced, demanding, creative, and rapidly changing Experienced with comprehensive sales training - inside and outside sales as well as call center training. Experience with 'hands-on' delivery of training programs such as selling skills, systems training, performance management, process improvement, presentation skills, and communications Experienced with establishing and leveraging reporting systems to measure training effectiveness. Effective at building credibility quickly and maintaining relationships with clients, employees and sales and human resources Strong leadership skills and ability to influence decision Communicates effectively - delivers clear, concise and compelling messages, including strong writing, proof reading and communications In-depth knowledge of adult learning strategies, facilitation skills, instructional design, and curriculum development Experience with technologies for remote learning. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or priorities at once and adapt to changing priorities to meet organizational Ability to solve personnel issues and manage a team that includes remote employees.Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Communications, Organizational Design or Education. Master's Degree a plusCompensation Position is salary, exempt#LI-JS1
