    As a Orthopedics CNC you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player, and must have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
    About this unit:
    • Ability to specialize and be an empathetic RN working with patients dealing with chronic pain and mobility concerns as well as trauma patients
    • Work closely with the Surgical Team (Surgeons, NPs, PAs) caring for a diverse group of post surgical patients.
    • 12-Bed Unit providing opportunity to specialize in Ortho and Surgical Responsibilities:
      • Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
      • Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care is in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards. Qualifications
        • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
        • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
        • BLS and ACLS certification required at hire and maintained.
        • Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.
