As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician,--you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Along the way, you'll discover the training, support and career opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 5 leader.
This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast paced, high volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.
Schedule:--Possibility to work anytime between 7 am to 7 pm CST

  Primary Responsibilities:
  
  • Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
    
  • Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
    
  • Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
    
  • Other assignments and projects as need
    
  • Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

      • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
        
      • Current Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence without restrictions
        
      • 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
        
      • Basic level of proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
        
      • Flexibility to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM CST Monday through Friday. Shift will be consistent once determined. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends as needed
        
      • Must comply with the onsite work requirement five days a week at the Overland Park, KS office
        Preferred Qualifications:
        
        • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
