The Opportunity: Our Plastic Surgery Specialists Clinics are seeking a LPN to join their team. This position will be based at the Plaza but will travel to our North location 2-3 times per week. Because of the travel requirement, candidates will do best if they are flexible, adaptable, quick learners who take lots of notes to ensure they comply with process workflow according to physician/provider preferences. The Schedule: This is a Monday through Friday day shift position. The Work: LPN will assist with patient phone calls, procedures, rooming, and various administrative tasks as needed (ex: prior auths, RX refills, etc). Previous procedural experience or plastic surgery experience is a plus. Provides support for assigned providers. Completes patient care, patient education, prior authorizations, in basket messages,, prescription refills, and other duties as assigned. Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care Schedules emergent need patient appointments Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration. Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice Enters admission orders as directed by provider Manages expired samples. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.
