Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Operating room nursing position with 1:1 patient ratios • Schedule options available for 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on availability • Set scheduling requirements with minimal floating required • Work with various surgical and procedural equipment • Document using Meditech system • Hospital-laundered scrubs provided by department • Surgical/procedural experience preferred but not required • New graduates welcome • Procedures include abdominal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, pediatrics, and many other specialties • Participate in comprehensive surgical procedures across multiple specialties including robotics, joint replacement, and complex trauma cases • Work in a friendly, team-based culture with staff ranging from new graduates to 30 years of experience Facility: This 343-bed medical center serves as Johnson County's only trauma center designated by the American College of Surgeons, equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7.
