Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Operating room nursing position with 1:1 patient ratios /n• Schedule options available for 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on availability /n• Set scheduling requirements with minimal floating required /n• Work with various surgical and procedural equipment /n• Document using Meditech system /n• Hospital-laundered scrubs provided by department /n• Surgical/procedural experience preferred but not required /n• New graduates welcome /n• Procedures include abdominal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, pediatrics, and many other specialties /n• Participate in comprehensive surgical procedures across multiple specialties including robotics, joint replacement, and complex trauma cases /n• Work in a friendly, team-based culture with staff ranging from new graduates to 30 years of experience /n/n Facility: /n This 343-bed medical center serves as Johnson County's only trauma center designated by the American College of Surgeons, equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7.
