Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in North Kansas City, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ER /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required /n• 13-week assignment duration with 36-hour orientation /n• 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted /n• Missouri RN license or compact state license required /n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts /n• Cerner charting system experience required - no exceptions /n• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score /n• Will be tested on lethal rhythms and must pass /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (all must be current) /n• CPI certification will be required starting January 2026 /n• Complete pre-start HealthStream modules (4 hours for ED) /n• Must maintain timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment /n• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics /n• Handle varied emergency conditions including trauma, cardiac events, psychiatric cases, and general emergency care /n• Float to competent units within facility as needed /n• Work with 42-bed emergency department with varied daily census /n• Level II trauma center experience required, Level I trauma experience preferred /n• Community hospital experience preferred /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 42 beds serving patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics. The facility maintains Level II trauma center capabilities and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
