Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Pediatrics RN in Overland Park, Kansas, 66215! Pay
Information $1,887 per week About The Position Job Title: Pediatric
RN Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN
License required Certifications: PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Advanced
skills not required Description: Some NICU cross-training
preferred. Unit has 8 beds. Typical patient ratio is 2-3 patients
per RN; maximum is 4:1 due to unit capacity. Unit secretary is
present for visitor check-in. Nurse externs and patient care techs
are available as needed. Primary equipment includes Alaris pumps.
Documentation system used is Meditech. Full-time hours are
required, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend and
holiday coverage may be necessary. No on-call requirements.
Floating may occur within women’s and children’s service lines, as
well as the NICU during low census in Pediatrics. Facility offers a
comprehensive range of pediatric services, including a level-III
NICU and pediatric outpatient services. Advanced skills are not
mandatory. Procedures performed vary based on the patient
population. Required dress code includes black pants and a
Caribbean blue scrub top. Unit-specific policies and guidelines
must be considered. Additional information may include new
equipment or technology, and the tenure and experience of staff.
