Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Overland Park, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,229 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must float between units as needed Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The RN will work a night shift schedule with a patient ratio of 1:5. Experience in telemetry and cardiac telemetry is required. The RN will be responsible for managing patients with various conditions, such as sepsis, renal failure, AFIB, and stroke. Skills in cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias are essential. Familiarity with pre/post-cardiac catheterization procedures is also required. The RN must be able to perform tasks such as central line care and management, blood product administration, and feeding tube care. The position requires a minimum of 8 weekend shifts during a 6-week scheduling period. The clinician will float across various departments and units as necessary. This role includes holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments as needed. The RN must have access to additional skills and training related to the care of adult and geriatric patients. The role may involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams and rapid response teams. References will be required from previous supervisors. Compliance modules must be completed before the start of the assignment. A drug screening will be conducted prior to employment.
