Registered Nurse – Kansas Start Date: November 10, 2025 Location:
Overland Park, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day: 06:45–19:15 | Night:
18:45–07:15); rotate every 3rd weekend Highlights: 36-bed
all-private-room unit specializing in orthopedic injury,
neurological conditions including stroke and head injuries, and
trauma Fast-paced med/surg acuity environment in a busy Level 2
trauma center with 2 freestanding emergency departments Patient
ratio: 5–6:1 with dedicated charge nurse, PCTs, and unit clerk
support Advanced communication technology with mobile heartbeat
(iMobile) for seamless team coordination and HIPAA-compliant
messaging EMR: Meditech; equipment includes traction, external
fixators, halos, remote telemetry monitoring, and continuous pulse
ox Recently expanded from 26 to 36 beds due to growing demand in
the specialty Requirements: Active Kansas RN license Acute care
hospital experience on Med/Surg or Telemetry units Current BLS
certification NIH certification preferred Experience with wound
