be considered. A registered nurse with progressive care unit (PCU)
experience is needed for a night-shift role at a respected
healthcare facility near Kansas City, MO. This contract position
offers a fast-paced environment where high acuity skills are
valued, including experience with drips, arterial lines, and
advanced respiratory support such as BiPAP and Airvo. Location: The
position is based at a hospital in Liberty, Missouri, roughly 20
miles from downtown Kansas City. The area boasts a mix of suburban
comfort and urban convenience, with easy access to shopping,
dining, and outdoor recreation along the Missouri River. This
community-friendly setting combines the best of city access with a
quieter lifestyle. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional nursing
care for patients in a stepdown unit Monitor and manage complex
patient conditions requiring advanced nursing interventions Utilize
clinical skills including arterial line monitoring and respiratory
support techniques Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
optimize patient outcomes Adhere to hospital policies including
floating to lesser acuity units as needed Work major holidays with
scheduling accommodations Qualifications & Experience: Current RN
license with required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Minimum one
year of PCU nursing experience Preferred high acuity skills:
arterial line, drip management, BiPAP/Airvo experience Ability to
work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Flexibility
to work every other weekend and major holidays This contract
position includes orientation days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday and offers bi-weekly pay. The facility is a
nicotine-free environment and requires all credentials to be
