Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Participates in department and hospital LEAN improvement activities that align with the five True North Pillars. In addition, supports the CMH Service Excellence Program through demonstrated knowledge of CMH Shared Values, Mission and Vision, and Strategic Plan. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources. /n/nResponsibilities:/n - Performs radiographic procedures per department protocol. Able to utilize and be completely competent with fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable exams, bone density and all diagnostic equipment. - Performs essential RIS/HIS functions. Performs and maintains LEAN practices as it relates to Patient Safety and Quality. - Assists radiologist in all appropriate procedures. - Maintains accurate inventory control functions. Maintains all appropriate paperwork. - Additional responsibilities for 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Technologist 5:30 AM Technologist (5:30 AM person).
