care unit setting within a renowned tertiary care hospital
recognized for excellence in nursing and trauma services. This role
involves skilled nursing care for a diverse patient population with
medical diagnoses affecting pulmonary, cardiac, neurological,
renal, and wound care needs. Night shift opportunities are

maintaining a welcoming suburban charm. Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered care in a PCU setting with a typical
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (may flex to 1:6 as needed) Perform
telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias, respond to
emergency codes, and utilize rapid response teams efficiently
Manage IV therapies including insulin protocols, blood product
administration, and central/peripheral line care Administer
medications such as heparin protocols and patient-controlled
analgesia (PCA) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for wound
care, respiratory management including chest tubes and
tracheostomy, and other specialized treatments Float within scope
between departments and facilities to meet patient care needs
Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements including charge
nurse assignments Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years of
nursing experience in telemetry or progressive care settings;
first-timers not accepted Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale
certification required Proficient in cardiac monitoring, emergency
response, IV therapy, and managing complex patient conditions
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred
Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (18:45 to
