Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a skilled Orthodontist to join our dedicated team in providing expert dental care. The successful candidate will be joining a team committed to creating beautiful smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The role of the Orthodontist will involve diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. Diagnose teeth and jaw or other dental-facial abnormalities. Examine patients to assess abnormalities of jaw development, tooth position, and other dental-facial structures. Design and fabricate appliances, such as space maintainers, retainers, and labial and lingual arch wires. Discuss treatment plans and cost estimates with patients. Manage patient care and treatment, including comprehensive documentation of all clinical notes and treatments. Work collaboratively with other dental professionals, such as dental hygienists, technicians, and general dentists. Stay updated on the latest orthodontic research and technologies. Proficient in the use of traditional and modern orthodontic treatments and appliances. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with patients and families. Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment in diagnosing and planning treatments. Detail-oriented in clinical operations and documentation. 401k Licensed to practice as an Orthodontist within the state. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (preferred).
