13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity –
Operating Room Nurse (OR/CVOR) – Kansas Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
6:30am–7:00pm with call. 1–2 overnight 7pm–7am call shifts during
the week and alternating weekends (Friday 7pm–Monday 7am). 13–26
week assignment available; 26 weeks preferred. Highlights:
Participate in general surgical cases and cardiovascular/thoracic
procedures, including coronary artery bypass surgeries Gain
experience in routine, urgent, and trauma surgical environments
Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Work with Epic EMR system in a collaborative surgical services team
Opportunity for extended 26-week contract with flexible start
options Requirements: Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
eligibility BLS and ACLS certification required CNOR certification
with CCI verification required Documented experience in
cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, particularly coronary artery
bypass procedures Previous travel or contract experience required;
no first-time travelers Must reside within 100 miles of the
