Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist on a PRN (as-needed) basis to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will operate computed tomography (CT) machines to produce diagnostic images of patients’ internal structures. As an integral part of our imaging team, you will assist in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care that reflects our commitment to improving human life. The ideal candidate will be adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high degree of precision and empathy in all patient interactions and imaging procedures. Operate CT equipment to produce images necessary for the diagnosis of medical issues. Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Analyze the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine accurate diagnosis, when applicable. Maintain patient records and radiologic files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize care plans. Manage CT equipment, perform regular maintenance checks, and report any malfunctions or discrepancies. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT Valid state radiology registration as required by local laws CPR certification is desirable
