Job Description PM&R Physician | Kansas City, Missouri Setting: Inpatient Rehab Facility Skilled Nursing Facilities Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Employment Model: W2 (Full-Time) | 1099 (Part-Time) Practice Setting & Coverage Primary Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Additional Coverage: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) Physicians in Market: 4 Call: Inpatient Rehab: Shared call 1:4 SNFs: No call Compliance Program: Yes (structured and established) Schedule & Patient Volume Inpatient Rehab Census: 18–20 patients per day Call Scope: Inpatient rehab facility only Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible – PM&R Comfortable in inpatient rehab setting Team-oriented and compliance-focused Compensation Overview Full-Time (W2): Guaranteed base salary: Staff Physician: $180,000 Medical Director: $200,000 Bonus Structure: Once threshold met, 70% of billings Average total compensation: $230,000 – $425,000 Part-Time: 1099 directly through hiring entity Benefits (W2 Employees) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Full benefits package Technology & Support MD Coder App: Simplifies charge entry Assists with billing codes Ensures compliance standards are met Organization Highlights Nationwide physiatry group with 100 physicians Strong infrastructure and compliance support Predictable inpatient rehab workflow with limited call Recruiter Highlights High earning potential with production bonus Shared call only at rehab facility, no SNF call Established national group offering stability Opportunity for full-time W2 or flexible part-time 1099 RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
