ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED -
Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Overland Park,
Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency
Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment
Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 13-week
assignment with 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM •
Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts • Minimum 2 years of
Emergency Room experience required • Work in General Emergency
Department with combined adult/pediatric patients • 8 weekend
shifts required in 6-week scheduling period (combination of
Friday/Saturday/Sunday) • Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments
as needed • Regular floating may be required between ED Hold area,
departments, units and facilities • Required certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (CPI and MAB preferred) • Must have Kansas
and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license • Skills required:
cardiac monitoring, management of dysrhythmias, central line care,
continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated
patients, isolation precautions, and triage • Epic charting system
experience preferred • Care for patients of all age groups
including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics •
Maximum 7 days request time off allowed • Guaranteed 3 shifts per
13-week contract • Local candidates within 75-mile radius not
accepted Facility: This healthcare facility operates a Non-Trauma
Emergency Department serving as a Primary Stroke and STEMI Center.
The emergency department features 12 rooms with a daily census of
approximately 50 patients, treating typical emergency diagnoses and
occasional obstetric patients requiring management until transfer.
The facility maintains high standards for emergency care and
provides comprehensive support services including transportation
and specialized cardiac and stroke treatment capabilities.
Location: Overland Park, KS Overland Park offers a vibrant suburban
