The role of the Super Float Pool Registered Nurse is to perform
patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of
the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift. -
The Super Float Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and
administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and
in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
- The Registered Nurse in the Super Float Pool position provides
care for acutely ill patient in units as determined by the Float
Pool agreement. - PRN SCHEDULE: 6 12-hr shifts per 4 week schedule
with weekend commitments What qualifications you will need: -
Graduate from accredited school of nursing with either an AND or
BSN degree. - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse
in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license,
in accordance with law and regulation. - BLS required upon hire.
ACLS required within 2 months of hire. TNCC and PALS required
within 6 months of hire. - Minimum 5 years critical care experience
in the areas of ICU, ER, and/or PACU. Benefits Overland Park

Center is a 340 bed facility offering acute medical services to our
patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and

only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill
