Job Description:
Hogan1, an industry leader in transportation, is currently
looking for Dedicated CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our committed
team of logistics professionals. As part of our team, you will be
entrusted with transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring
that our reputation for exceptional service value remains
unmatched. We offer a role that involves in-depth operations of
heavy vehicles, rigorous adherence to safety norms, and proactive
thinking to handle on-the-road challenges. Safely operate a heavy
or tractor-trailer truck and maintain daily logs according to state
and federal regulations. Plan routes effectively to optimize time
and fuel efficiency while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform
preventative maintenance to ensure operable conditions at all
times. Report defects, accidents or violations and check vehicle
condition after each trip. Keep communication open with dispatch
about routes, delays, vehicle issues, or other critical
transportation-related details. Strong geographic knowledge and
hours-of-service regulations. Physical endurance for long hours and
ability to manage stress. Excellent driving skills with a focus on
safety and efficiency. Ability to handle unexpected situations such
as weather conditions, road conditions, and vehicle performances.
