Job Description:


This is an in-office position, and you must be certain that you can work on-site 100% of the time.

Responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures to isolate equipment malfunctions and verify the cause(s) of the problem, assess the severity of hardware and software malfunctions and determine corrective action required to restore the system to operation.


Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Troubleshoot and repair equipment

Verify the integrity of accessories and clean the equipment

Configure equipment to customer specifications

Install RAM, hard drives, video cards and other peripherals

Keep asset management data up to date

Analyze, test and evaluate new products

Set up, configure, and troubleshoot PCs/laptops and printers in a LAN environment

Maintain library of current BIOS, drivers and patches for supported equipment

Support remote access for site users

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Skills/Abilities and Knowledge)

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products

Skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals

Experience in installing software, applications, and patches

Experienced at repairing Windows-based PC computer hardware

Proficient in working with users remotely

Good communication skills to relate with end users, team members and support workers

Able to ensure that all requests from user are logged and right procedures are followed

Manage time and priorities effectively

Ability to work with little supervision

Committed to learn and relate technical concepts


Able to lift up to 50 lbs


Customer service experience work with all types of people; personable


BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience

1 to 2 years related PC, peripheral and application support experience


Office environment

8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule - M-F

Alternate on-call weekends.

You will be required to work on-site at our call center office in Overland Park, Kansas
