We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Analyst to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in
analytics, relational data analysis, and automation techniques,
combined with a strong business acumen. This role involves
analyzing business challenges, identify root causes and present
solutions. The Principal Data Analyst will demonstrate their
knowledge of data analysis to interpret complex data sets,
implement strategies to address business problems, and create
technology-driven solutions. Additionally, they will communicate
key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management,
ensuring that data-driven insights guide decision-making processes.
They will also set deliverables based on established success
criteria, define key metrics to measure progress, and quantify the
business impact of solutions. Furthermore, the role involves
mentoring and leading junior data analysts, promoting a culture of
continuous learning and development. Through their work, the
Principal Data Analyst will significantly contribute to optimizing
business operations and advancing T-Mobile's strategic
objectives.

Qualifications:
Work Experience:
7-10 years Experience working with relational databases using SQL
and data querying, cleaning, wrangling, working with common
relational and non-relational databases in big data
environments
7-10 years Experience with data intelligence tools e.g. Azure Data
Studio, Snowflake, Databricks
7-10 years Experience with data warehousing methodologies and
modeling techniques.
7-10 years Experience articulating and translating business
questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer
using data (Preferred)
Experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data
visualization such as Tableau, Power BI (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analysis
or Related Field (Required)
Master's/Advanced Degree Data Science, Business Analysis or Similar
Degree (Preferred)
--- At least 18 years of age
--- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Base Pay Range: $104,300 - $188,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful
candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will
be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications,
and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this
range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible
for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on
their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end
bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is
set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the
prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for
monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. To
