Operate a tractor-trailer or truck in accordance with traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe delivery of freight. Monitor load security and ensure proper load distribution according to specifications. Perform vehicle maintenance checks prior to departure and manage route planning to optimize delivery schedules. Record hours of service and mileage as per federal and company regulations. Ensure timely delivery while maintaining a positive and professional interaction with clients and team members. Adhere to all safety requirements and regulatory compliance directives. Proficiency in operating a commercial heavy vehicle. Adept at navigation and efficient route planning. Strong time management and communication skills. Capability to perform minor maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles. Ability to handle physical workload and secure cargo safely.
