The IT Support Specialist has experience delivering top-tier IT troubleshooting support (Windows, Office, Mac, etc.), a sound understanding of technical support and root cause analysis, using and supporting the Microsoft Suite, basic knowledge of computer functionality, and strong customer service skills. This role is a pivotal role in the organization for delivery processes and standards through taking a team-oriented approach to solving problems and documenting solutions for internal reference. **Responsibilities Include:** + Provide quality technical service to all end users in a timely and professional manner + Assist in maintenance of configuration settings, operating systems, security updates, computer upgrades, major and minor software upgrades + Troubleshoot and correct hardware and software problems + Create and maintain user accounts + Assist in maintenance of network/server equipment, network security, and provide email support + Investigate and remediate virus infections + Help coordinate technical projects including telephone, wireless, audio/video setup. + Train new associates on technology + Keep inventory of all assets current + Work on IT related projects, including reporting and documentation. + Some travel may be necessary + Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required + Minimum of 2-3 years related experience and/or training + Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems including, Windows 7, Microsoft Office + Some knowledge/experience with Apple devices and operating systems preferred. + Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related technologies + Working knowledge of LAN and WAN connectivity + Printer, wireless, Audio/video troubleshooting skills + Good customer service and communication (oral/written) skills
