Are you an experienced clinical laboratory professional looking for a PRN Histotechnician/Histotechnologist opportunity? - Labcorp is seeking a PRN Histotechnician/Histotechnologist to join our team in Overland Park, KS. --- The schedule for this position will be: PRN as needed Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs embedding of tissue, microtomy sectioning of the tissue to sage on the microscopic slide and specific staining and immediate examination of a pathologist.
• Operates computerized laboratory equipment to fix, dehydrate, and infiltrate with wax, tissue specimens to be preserved for study by pathologist; maintains and troubleshoots delicate electronic histological equipment.
• Performs computerized data entry of all work performed.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Education Normally an Associate's Degree w/1-3 years of experience in Histology or a High School Diploma with 2+ years histology experience.
