CT/ Xray Technologist- Travel ContractAmerican Consultants has openings for CT/XRay Techs for travel contracts. If you have always wanted to try travel, now is the time!!Job Duties-- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to ensure accurate images- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluation- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of informationExperience-- Minimum of 1 yearsof experience as an X-ray Technician- Proficient in performing X-ray scans and interpreting results- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy- Experience with CT or other specialized imaging techniques is a plus- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an ER or urgent care setting- Knowledge of physiology and aseptic technique- Familiarity with scans or other advanced medical imaging technologies is a plusPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as neededby Jobble
