Job Description:
Job Description: This team member will be providing high-level
mechanical and electrical service for our modular labeling
machines. Responsibilities include new client startups and
installations, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
Additionally, this position will include traveling to clients'
plants, providing phone support, training users in the field, as
well as working on demos for new equipment.Job Duties: Please see
below for key responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoot and repair machine issues over the phone and
on-site.Provide training and demonstrations on
equipment.Communicate as needed for scheduling and issues in the
field.Provide courtesy calls and follow ups as needed.Maintain
equipment in proper working condition.Inform parts buyer of low
shop supplies for re-order purposesMaintain communication with PL
TW and save key information on the shared Y-Drive in the
appropriate folder.Compile and complete all forms.Maintain accurate
account of data required from the service locations.Alert manager
to any equipment in need of immediate repair.Travel: North America
& International.Process all paperwork and reports within
deadlines.Assist other technicians and engineers with
solutions.Provide or establish around the clock service to
customers as needed.Complete all assigned daily tasks.Keep
workspace and shop clean at all times.Be accountable for all shop
tools.Be accountable for all machine modification parts not used,
being returned.Complete all aspects of checkout & startup, which
includes:Point-to-point wiring checkoutVerification of proper
installation of instrumentation & end devicesField calibration of
instrumentationDocumentation of all check-out activities
performedWork with field engineers & site manager to complete
project on scheduleWork with subcontractors to verify
installationParticipate in the start-up and commissioning of
control systems at client facilitiesJob Qualifications: To perform

Education/Experience: Associate degree in Business or Technical
Area or equivalent in related field; and three-plus years related
experience required; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required High-level
knowledge and understanding of Pack Leader USA's products and
services PLC literate (Panasonic, Siemens and Allen Bradley)
Working knowledge of mechanical & electrical schematics Excellent
communication and teaming skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook,
Word & Excel Self-motivated; ability to work independently Punctual
and dependable Customer service skills Strong mechanical aptitude
