**Description** Humana's Clinical Pharmacy Review (HCPR) function processes the pharmacy prior authorization requests for Humana's members. In 2023 this operational function will process 3.5 million such requests. This business intelligence opportunity will be to manage the budget volume forecasting process for this operation and any ad hoc volume analytics requests associated with that forecast. The successful candidate will be ready to present their analysis to senior executives in this operational area and also have the technical skills to take the analytics associated with these processes to the next level. **Responsibilities** **Responsibilities** + Creating the annual budget forecast and presenting it to senior leadership + Creating monthly reforecasts based on emerging experience + Working on ad-hoc analysis surrounding the budget forecasts + Collecting assumptions around future volume from business partners + Researching and understanding variance drivers between actual and expected volume + Process improvement via automation of existing tasks **Skills & Qualifications** + **Consultation:** experience and comfort presenting findings to senior leadership and answering their questions + **Coding Experience:** SQL is a must and either SAS or Python experience will be very helpful + **Data Visualization:** Power BI Experience or a strong desire to learn + **Excel:** Final forecast and assumptions are delivered in Excel + **Predictive Analytics:** Past experience or a strong desire to learn, specifically this process involves a time series regression model **Bonus Points For:** + **Cloud Data Management:** Familiarity with Azure platform and using that data for analytics + **Pharmacy Background:** Background or knowledge of the pharmacy industry from the payor side + **Medicare and/or Medicaid Knowledge:** Background knowledge on the Medicare or Medicaid programs from the payor side **#LI-REMOTE** **#LI-ER1** **This is a remote position nationwide** **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$86,600 - $119,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
