Electrician - College Campus Facility

Pay: based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (may vary)
Location: Local college campus (multiple buildings)

Description:
We're hiring an experienced Electrician to support day-to-day electrical maintenance for a local college campus. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and supporting Helpdesk requests across classrooms, residence halls, and other campus buildings.

Job Duties:

Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems


Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure code compliance (NEC/NFPA 70)


Maintain accurate records using computerized work order systems


Support remodels, safety projects, and outside contractor oversight


Be part of an on-call rotation for emergency response



Requirements:

5+ years of electrical experience in large/commercial facilities


High school diploma or GED


Valid driver's license and clean driving record


Comfortable working with high/low voltage, AC/DC, and 3-phase systems


Physically able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varying conditions



Preferred:

Electrical trade school or apprenticeship


Master electrician license (or ability to obtain within 3 years)


Experience using digital maintenance/work order systems
