Job Description:
Position Purpose/SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative plays a
pivotal role in Fastwyre Broadband's mission to deliver superior
broadband services to rural communities. This position focuses on
driving customer acquisition and revenue growth by engaging with
potential and existing customers through a consultative sales
approach. You will convert pre-qualified leads, conduct cold
outreach, and upsell current customers, highlighting the value of
our industry-leading broadband solutions. Primary Duties &
Responsibilities Lead Management:
- Handle inbound leads from marketing campaigns, assessing
customer needs and qualifying sales opportunities.
- Execute inbound and outbound calls and emails to generate new
leads and drive customer engagement.
- Accurately document lead interactions to ensure seamless
communication and follow-up. Sales Execution:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas by
effectively closing sales.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, addressing customer
pain points and emphasizing unique selling propositions.
- Educate customers on product features, promotions, and tailored
service packages, including symmetrical speed offerings and WiFi
Mesh solutions. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with the field sales team to route high-value
prospects for on-site consultations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product
knowledge and sales techniques.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams regarding
customer preferences, market trends, and competitive insights.
Customer Experience & Retention:
- Ensure a positive customer experience by responding promptly to
inquiries and resolving issues.
- Follow up with new customers post-sale to confirm satisfaction
and encourage referrals. Performing all other duties and
responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for
Success
- Strong understanding of broadband technology, including fiber
optics and internet service features.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and familiarity with Microsoft
Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to
deliver persuasive sales pitches.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with a
customer-first mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven
environment.
- Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but
not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having
proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as
programs and processes change.
- Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work
independently to reach a goal.
- Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging
others to seek innovative approaches.
- Ability to function effectively as a team player.
- Knowledge of and the ability to comply with Company's Customer
Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) regulations and
procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best
serve our customers.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls
per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation
tools
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Work with other departments, as necessary, to resolve customer
issuesQualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a
bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is
preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven success in inside sales,
preferably in the broadband or telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales
targets.
- Certifications: Sales certifications (e.g., Certified Inside
Sales Professional) are a plus but not required. Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work with a computer
and telephone system.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10
