Job Description Job Description Food Quality Technician Food Quality Technician Location: 1st shift in Kansas City, MO Pay: $25-30 per hour Position Overview The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications in the food manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for conducting quality checks, product testing, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with GMP and USDA standards Perform product testing to verify quality and safety specifications Document and report any quality issues or non-conformance to the Quality Manager Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP plans Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related concerns and improve processes Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and test results Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to food safety and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food manufacturing industry Familiarity with GMP, USDA, HACCP, and food safety regulations Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively Able to work in a cold manufacturing plant with PPE Ability to read and write Spanish is preferred but not required Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
